Why Go to Meetings?
An important part of the DAA Program is to stay connected with other addicts who speak the same language. At a Meeting, you hear the message from people just like you who have had similar experiences.
You can see ‘living and walking’ examples of men and women who have stopped suffering and who now live happy and fulfilling lives. This is all achieved by following the 12 Steps Program found in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous.
